My summer has been taxing. For the first month it rained. It flooded and I actually had to wear pants. I didn't find a job. I didn't get my licence. My boyfriend visited the hospital three times in three weeks;the last time he found out he has lime disease. Today he hydroplaned and took out a telephone pole but came out uninjured. School starts next Tuesday and I feel as if I have wasted the last two and a half months of my life.
The good things are that I have made new friends and become more socially active though I still don't like the taste of alcohol. I have become more active as every week I go hiking, biking, kayaking, and swimming. I come home tired though and barley have time to get laundry done so that I have clean clothes to wear.
I am not ready to go back to school but I relish the fact that I will soon be spending my days learning and not wasting time doing nothing. Still hate homework though.
